The internet is currently involved in a vigorous debate over whether this is real, or a viral campaign. Is this a real video of a Dutch engineer finally realising man's dream to fly like a bird, using a machine with Android smartphone technology and Nintendo Wii controllers to amplify his arm movements, or is it fake and likely an edvert for something?
Of course we'd love it to be real, but we'd also love Santa Clause to be real. Anyway, real or not it's a fun video, and the truth will out in no time I'm sure.

This is pretty amazing. I'd read before about military attempts at "invisibility cloaks" using LEDs and cameras but seeing it in action is pretty impressive, even if it only works well from a specific viewpoint. The same idea for invisibility was used by James Bond in Die Another Day.
The invisibility cloak had its tryout this week on the streets of Stuttgart, Germany. To make Q's idea of an invisible car real, Mercedes employed dozens of technicians and some $263,000 worth of flexible LED mats covering one side of the car. Using a camera mounted on the opposite side of the vehicle, the LEDs were programmed to reproduce the image from the camera at the right scale, blending the vehicle into the background from a few feet away.

Watch Madonna's Supoer Bowl show stage being put together in less than five minutes.
And for everyone who was sure she was past it, she's broken a few records this week. Her Super Bowl show was the most watched ever, pre-oreders for the album have smashed iTunes previous one day record. The single is now number 1 in over 50 countries, and the video has already been viewed over 11 million times and counting. For an old lady she still knows how to werq it.
