    BUKKAKE is on the move

Bukkake is picking up it's drippings and moving this Bank Holiday Sunday. But it's not going far - just around the corner to 4 Dame Lane, which I think is a perfect venue for it. I always thought the gays should be making more use of that venue.

I'm going to drop some feathered tips, high-waisted pleated Mom-chinos, and belted Aran jumpers on the F.A.G.s tonight. They won't know what hit them. Everybody Wang Chung tonight!

    It's a wee promo for a club

A while back, Israeli night club PAG caught the attention of the internet with this slickly produced promo. Now there back with another, which is probably NSFW. Or at least it suggests stuff that's NSFW. However, it's the depiction of women that's a little more troubling to me than the faked water sports.

    (thanks John)

    You'd better Werk

Werk's third and final outing touches down in all it's performancy, arty, clubby glory at the Abbey soon. The first two have been so much fun, and sold out, so if you wanna grab a piece of the "gays-take-over-the-national-theatre" action, best get on it.

    Interview with Michael Alig

Interview magazine has a lengthy and interesting interview with Michael Alig, legendary Club Kid, infamous Party Monster and 90's New York nightlife prince, who's arrest for the gruesome murder of a drug dealer in 1996 heralded the death of the city's notoriously debauched and creative club scene. Alig is likely to be released from prison soon.

(side note: one small detail jumped out at me - he's never used a mobile phone or the internet. Wow. 1996 was a world away)

Alig, now 43, enters one of the cinderblock conference rooms wearing a dark green uniform. He seems slightly speedy from his medication but says he is much happier to be in Coxsackie after being sent to Southport-a Max A-as punishment for previously being caught with Percocet in his system. Alig has a quick smile so reminiscent of a boy's that it is not hard to imagine him back on the dance floor at Limelight, leading his young apostles into another spontaneous Club Kid spectacle. He wears wirerim glasses now, and while he's never used a cell phone or surfed the Internet-two technological advancements that would have made much of the Club Kid ethos either impossible or much more viral-he keeps uptodate by reading magazines and talking to the friends he has kept since the early '90s. Alig tells me that after he has completed a compulsory drugtreatment program, he may be released as soon as this fall. In truth, his future is in the hands of the parole board, and he could remain in lockup until as late as 2016.

    Indie gays in my basement

The indie gays of Áit will be bringing their sexually ambiguous hair-cuts to Pantibar's basement on Friday 27th of November to celebrate the indie Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, through the medium of drinking, dancing, carousing... and pyramid cake. Expect interesting asymmetrical fringes, an eclectic mix of music, skinny jeans, foppish shirts, eye-liner, and plenty of asp. (Geddit? Asp? No? Oh well)

    Bite me!

The indie gays are back in my basement next Friday, June 19th. They'll be drinking, dancing, celebrating Bloomsday, and admiring each others sexually ambiguous hair-cuts. It's always very fun.
