"Transvestite had sex with a dog at English Heritage castle"...

... is not a headline you read every day!

(Note: Not the tranny pictured. I just used her for illustrative purposes. Though that is indeed the castle)

    According to The Telegraph:

A transvestite had sex with a dog in the moat of an English Heritage castle.

The cross-dressing man was caught with the animal in the dry moat of King Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle overlooking Falmouth Bay in Cornwall.

The 33-year-old mounted the pet after it chased him out of sight of its woman owner.

The owner had been walking around the ancient castle with a friend when the pair spotted the lone transvestite on the morning of Saturday July 10th at around a quarter to twelve.

He was wearing a black dress and walking around the steep-walled, empty moat.

As the two ladies spotted the cross dresser he ran away. Later one of the dogs chased after the man; by the time the women had caught up, the man was having sex with the pet.

Castle staff then restrained the man while police were called.

Pendennis Castle, managed by English Heritage, is a popular family tourist attraction and was heaving with visitors in high season.

He was escorted home and later made a "full and frank confession", and received a caution for outraging public decency.

A police spokesman said: "Other agencies were liaised with and he was handed over to them".

A spokesman for English Heritage said: "This was a very rare incident".

    (thanks Martin)

    Pesky Mecca! Sit still!

    The Independent reports:

Indonesia's Muslims learned yesterday they have been praying in the wrong direction, after the country's highest Islamic authority said its directive on the direction of Mecca actually had people facing Africa.

Muslims are supposed to face the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia during prayer and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) issued an edict in March stipulating westward was the correct direction from the world's most populous Muslim country.

"But it has been decided that actually the mosques are facing Somalia or Kenya, so we are now suggesting people shift the direction slightly to the north-west," the head of the MUI, Cholil Ridwan, told reporters.

"There's no need to knock down mosques, just shift your direction slightly during prayer." Mr Ridwan said Muslims need not fear that their prayers had been wasted because they were facing the wrong way.

"Their prayers will still be heard by Allah," he said.

I'm tempted to reevaluate my opposition to eugenics

The internet continues to expose the depressingly stupid underbelly of society.

As soon as troubled murderer and fugitive from justice Raul Moat had killed himself in the full glare of the media, Facebook groups started to appear hailing him as some kind of hero. The largest of these groups, which had over 35,000 members within days, was called RIP Raul Moat You Legend

Predictably, it was the subject of a lot of outrage, and even the British Prime Minister condemned it, though others defended it, and some ridiculed David Cameron for reacting to it. Facebook refused to take it down.

The group was set up by an idiot called Siobhan O'Dowd, and though she eventually took down the page after the criticisms (other similar groups remain), she is unrepentant, and defended the group to a number of papers.

She also gave this gobsmacking interview to a radio station. At times like this it's hard not to reevaluate eugenics in a more positive light. This woman has children you know. Can't we take them off her and give them to a nice lesbian couple? Or those male penguins in that German zoo?

What's the right size for a clitoris anyway?

I've always felt sorry for boys who live in countries where circumcision is the norm, because as far as I'm concerned it's simple genital mutilation of children without their consent. And if you think it makes no difference to a guy, well then you're obviously circumcised and don't know what you're missing. You have my condolences.

But at least in the Western societies, girls don't have to worry about having bits of there genitals chopped off, right? Well, that depends. If you happen to be a girl who's anxious parents think your clitoris is unfashionably large, and you live near Cornell University in the US, you might just end up getting mutilated. And then, in the name of research, the doctor might end up using vibrators on your six year old clitoris.

But what's the right size for a clitoris anyway?

The horror of acid attacks on women

Acid attacks on women - and even young girls - are a horrible fact of life in parts of Asia, especially Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, but also in Cambodia and other countries. The New York Times has reported from Afganistan and Pakistan, and you can read more HERE, including some very distressing photographs.

    It's just impossible to comprehend.

Is Uganda the worst country in the wold?

First we have the government of Uganda trying to bring in a popular bill that would include the death penalty for gays, and prison for people who know about a gay person and don't report them, and now a BBC investigation reveals that human sacrifice and the ritual killing of children is not uncommon.

One witch-doctor led us to his secret shrine and said he had clients who regularly captured children and brought their blood and body parts to be consumed by spirits.

Meanwhile, a former witch-doctor who now campaigns to end child sacrifice confessed for the first time to having murdered about 70 people, including his own son.

The Ugandan government told us that human sacrifice is on the increase, and according to the head of the country's Anti-Human Sacrifice Taskforce the crime is directly linked to rising levels of development and prosperity, and an increasing belief that witchcraft can help people get rich quickly.

Lots of you think the "woman in cupboard" story a few posts below is fake, but...

... it does happen. HERE's the Japanese story I alluded to.

A woman has been arrested in Japan for sneaking into a man's house and living in his wardrobe without him knowing.

Police found 58-year-old Tatsuko Horikawa living in a small storage space in the house in the southern city of Fukuoka.

    Creepy!!!!!!!!

This guy was noticing that food was going missing from his kitchen in his small New York apartment at night, and his girlfriend denied it was her. So, he decided to set up a camera.

This is TOTALLY creepy! After watching it, you, like evertone else, will no doubt have lots of questions, the first being, "Is this a fake?". Well, after being inundated with questions after posting the video, the guy answered the main ones, which I've put after the clip.

I do remember reading about a similar situation in Japan a year or two ago, which went on for years if I remember correctly.

So I have been innodated with questions since this was posted and I thought it wise to give answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

    #1 - Are you sh#ting me?
A - No, this is every bit as real and messed up as it seems

#2 - What did you do when you saw the footage?
A - I immediately left my apartment and called the police.

#3 - Who is that girl?
A - I have no idea, she didn't say much when the cops came and took her.

#4 - What was it she actually climbed down from?
A - It is a storage loft/area in the apartment. It has no connection to any outside ventilation or anything of that such. It does go pretty deep back in there, almost all the way to over the stove/kitchen area. She had set up a little nook for herself.

#5 - How did she get in there?
A - I have no idea, the only way she could have gotten in is through the window, as I am on the top floor and there is a fire escape. The police think she was probably coming in to rob me when I was gone and decided to stow away in the crawl space. Supposedly this isn't the first time the cops had come across something like this.

#6 - How long was she in your apartment?
A - The police officers thought it looked as though she had been there for at least a couple weeks, although could have been longer.

    Lesbian Vs "Ex-Gay". Lesbian wins.

I've blogged before about the horrifying "kill the gays" bill in Uganda, and how US christian groups have fomented the anti-gay hysteria, and in particular the part played by christian "ex-gay" author Richard Cohen. (HERE and HERE)

Yesterday, Cohen appeared on (out lesbian) Rachel Maddow's show in the US. She slaughters him. (And calls him "Dude". News shows are different in the US!)
