This video of two kids in Celbridge in Kildare has been shared over 4,000 times in since it was uploaded three days ago, and rightly so. As they'd probably say themselves, these two are deadly. From the comments on Facebook, I think the uploader is the mother of one of them and says the the singer is only 11, and the guitar player is 16.
And wait for the break down...

A sweet short film about his arcade and the local response, which I posted before, went viral. Well, now there's a follow up film showing how Caine's arcase has inspired other kids to get creative with cardboard.
(thanks Buzz)

Dylan Walsh is a talented young guy who I posted on the blog ages ago, and now he needs people to look at this great cover mash-up he does of Like A Virgin/Rehab, because if he gets enough views he'll get to play in the Academy in Dublin. Give it a look, you'll be glad you did.
Hey Panti, Remember me? You featured me in a fantastic blog on your website with my 'Jar Of Hearts' cover, and gave me soo many viewers, and I'm ever so thankful for that. Since all the sucess of that video, i have got onto 'Block C Studio' and done a cover of 'Like A Virgin' and to cut a long story short, the top 15 videos with the most views gets to perform in the Accademy!! Which is like a dream. So i was wondering, is there any possible way, you could post my video on your twitter/ facebook. It would be such a big help (considering all the homophobics hating my videos) Hope to hear from you soon. Dylan xx

Annette Bening (Goddess!) and Warren Beatty (ride!)'s teenage trans son Stephen hit the celebrity headlines some time ago when it first became known that he identified as transgender. (He has previously been known as Kathlyn). According to the tabloids his parents, especially WQarren were very unhappy about it at first, though depending on which celeb mag you want to believe, either everything is grerat now, or Warren will never sccept it. Anyhoo...
Stephen made this YouTube video where he answers questions about his life as a trans teenager for a project called We Happy Trans, and he comes across as very smart, sorted, happy and articulate. Warren and Annette should be proud.

Irish college was definitely not like this in my day. It was all grumpy 'Bean An Tî's wiping their fingers across the top of doors to try and find dust, and sending girls home to empty houses because they got off the train and asked "Where's my bike?" in English. It wasn't 550 healthy, happy, attractive teenagers jumping around and having the time of their lives at a "Festival Of Colours" at Colaiste Lurgan. No it bloody wasn't!
(thanks Jess)

In fact, I can safely say that I prefer their version to the original. Check out the little girl drummer/harpist who is only 5 years old! There are lots of other clips of them on YouTube, and if you, like some commenters on the video, suspect a horrible pushy parent because the kids aren't smiling enthusiastically, the kids themselves are pretty quick to jump in to the comments (in excellent English) and defend their "sweet" Dad. They're just a bit shy in front of the camera sometimes.
Anyway, check out Children's Medieval Band. Hanson they ain't. (Though I have a soft spot for Hanson too)

A short documentary about a nine year old boy in Los Angeles who built an elaborate cardboard amusement arcade in his father's garage, and who is about to have the best day ever. It'll put a smile on your face.
