My gay Pa* sent me this, which he got when he Googled me. He didn't explain why he was Googling me but no doubt he was touching himself inappropriately at the time.
* That's the gay's name: "Pa". As in short for Patrick. I'm not referring to my Dad. He never Googles me. Though he did once put my name into the sex offenders register just to make sure.

It ain't an expensive looking ad (ain't nobody got time for that!) but I hope Sweet Brown got paid well for it. 'Cos Lord Jesus she could do with a break after all the bronchitis an' all.
And in related Sweet Browm/Beyonce news...

And that discussion is turning the video by "singer/songwriter, actress, reporter and gymnast/dancer" and "Miss Pembroke Pines, Florida" beauty queen Thamys into a viral hit.

Jezebel has a story about how a "douchebag" posted this picture of a Sikh woman on Reddit, presumably for people to make fun of her, but then she responded. Eloquently. Prompting the original poster to respond to her response. And it worked out in a way internet exchanges so rarely seem to.

The RuPaul's Drag Race fans among you will know Shangela from series... two? Well, unexpectedly she is now in a fun web series with major actress Jennifer Lewis. The first I knew about it was when I stumbled across the really fun theme tune/titles for the series on YouTube.
There were also a couple of fun teasers for the show like this one and this one.
And the first episode appeared today. Jennifer Lewis is really fun in it, and while Shangela isn't quite up to her she aquits herself well - and of course Jennifer is an old pro, so we'll give Shangela a chance. It's a fun, cute show.

A US photographer responded to ads in Craigslist's "casual encounters" section and asked the posters if he (she?) could phoptograph them in a visual representation of their ad. "Some said yes".
The text of the ads is under the pictures - you may have to scroll down slightly.
Some of the pics are a bit NSFW.

P.S. I wonder why Craigslist never really took off here the way it did in the US. We have it here of course, but it's not really part of the internet culture here the way it is there. I wonder if it's something to do with the very basic look of it? We do seem to want things to be more designed, compared to American visual tastes sometimes. Or perhaps it's just that other single-purpose sites like Done Deal etc got a foothold first?

I was online last night reading some of the comments on some of the many US websites and blogs that have posted Michael D's anti-Tea Party rant. Ah sure t'would warm the cockles of yer heart so it would. Sure aren't there hundreds of sites that linked to the clip and sure aren't all the Yanks just lovin' our Micky D and by extension, lovin' us. Sure practically every single comment is along the lines of, "I love this man, I wish we could have him as President too" or "The Irish are so articulate and passionate!". Really, if you want to find something to feel good about Ireland - or yourself just for being Irish - just Google "Irish President Tea Party" and start reading comments. Seriously, after a few minutes you won't even notice the rain or the homeless junkie on your doorstep because you'll be too busy writing passionate poetry and being magnificient.
Oh, but don't go on quite every site. For example, don't look at this one. No, don't do that, because if you do you'll find out that you're not an articulate, insightful, eloquent, erudite charmer at all. No, you're actually a stupid, drunk, communist thicko living in an economic disaster zone who should shut the fuck up and get down on your knees and thank the USA for saving your life from the Nazis, except you were a Nazi sympathiser anyway! Moron!

This is an episode from a web series called Craigslist TV where people put unusual ads on Craigslist and the results are filmed as these short documentaries. In this one, a woman posts an ad looking for eight strangers to come to a hoiiday dinner party in her house. One of the guests that turns up at her door is funny (and controversial) RuPaul's DRag Race contestant Willam Belli who does his best to shock the conservative lady guest - and succeeds.
