James writes from Cork to tell me:
After South Paw's fantastic launch night in April, the Bears & Cubs are coming back to Loafers on July the 21st.
We have a fantastic line up on the night with DJ's A&E mixing it up for us on the decks,
Bear Supply all the way from Dublin to perform along side the ever amazing Lucy Luice who's taking to the South Paw stage again.
There will be free entry all night plus Loafers will be providing us with some amazing drinks promotions & a fully heated seated smoking area to all. The intermission will host an awesome raffle to help us raise funds before Cork Pride with some great prizes in store.
Also there will be surprise guests such as our very own Lorraine Mc Carthy, Mr. South Paw 2012, DJ Gerry Moore, and the ever witty Kev Collins to help with proceedings on the night!

I was down in Cork to host 'The Rebel Awards' (which honour people and organisations that have contributed to the gay community in Cork) and also on the bill was local DJ and singer "DJ Jules", who did a great fun, Lady GaGa-esque show during the awards.
When I arrived in the dressing room, Jules was there being 'styled' by another small cute girl, who I assumed was the stylist. She was busy creating a 'look' on Jules who was sitting patiently as hair extensions were clipped in, tulle was shaped on her body, accessories were attached, and hundreds of gold mosaic tiles were painstakenly applied to her bra, her sun-glasses, her dress, and her head-dress. It was quite the operation, and it looked great. I thought to myself, "That stylist is fun".
Then Jules' gay-boy backing dancers arrived, and as gay-boy backing dancers do, they started going through their moves, and when they were unsure, they looked to the stylist, who then got up off her knees, and started going through the routine with them!
"You're the stylist and the choreographer?", I asked. She was.
Then, a little later, I go on-stage to do my bit, and when I look to the sound desk, there she is again!
"You're the stylist, the choreogapher, and the sound engineer?!". She was.
Then later again, after the gig, I go to the after-party at club "Instinct", and when I go to the bar... there she is pulling pints! And still looking cute and unruffled.
It also turns out that Jenna - that's her name - is DJ Jules' girlfriend.
Here's Jenna, the hardest working dyke in show-business, behind the bar...

And here she is with DJ Jules being the cutest tiny dyke couple in Ireland...

And speaking of tiny people... Here's my new favourite tiny nut. This fella was having the BEST TIME EVER at the club, drinking jugs of 'sex on the beach' that were nearly as big as him! I could tell he's a local "character" - at one point I saw the bouncer having a stern word with him, but it didn't seem to dampen his enthusiasm for crazed hedonism one bit.

Apologies for the crappy pics. I only had my phone.
