Some photos by photographer Fiona Morgan of my show A Woman In Progress.

And by the same photographer, this insane pic from Niall Sweeney's Revolver at which I performed on the same night as the other pics.

I'd link to the Irish Independent review if I could find it on-line ('cos it was better, lol!) but The Irish Times review is kind enough.
The show is back next Thursday for four more nights. Tickets still available I think, from the theatre festival web-site, or from the Project Arts Centre.

... our gorgeous new neon sign is being installed in the bar. Yey!
And this evening, A Woman In Progress opens. I seem to be remarkably calm this morning, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not.
We'll talk tomorrow.
But I'll leave you with this ballon pearl necklace.

... because my new show in the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival starts on Thursday, and I'm a very busy pig-dog-man-woman. And after the first few days of the run, we have a break in the middle, and I'm going to go down to Mayo to see my Dad who's just had a hip replacement. Penny is going to stay with the foster gays when I'm in Mayo, but she's going to flip when she sees the huge hip bone I bring her back!
You can still get tickets for some nights of my show, though some of them are sold out. You'll have to be flexible if you want to go!

... that my new show, A Woman In Progress, is a hit, even before it opens. Which is nice of them, but they never mentioned they could see into the future!

You can read the article HERE (thanks CP), and if you trust the psychic abilities of The Sunday World, you can book tickets for the show HERE.

From the Electric Picnic. Had a great time, despite the damp weather and the trials that that involves when you're a huge woman in a tent. I'll fill you in later, when I've caught up on everything. I came back to a hundred and twenty e-mails, and right now I have to run across town and look gorgeous and be peppy for some more press for my upcoming show. And speaking of which, here's a couple of pieces that appeared in the papers while I was battling the elements and the fun-times at the Picnic.
The Sunday Independent and The Herald.

And I'm sorry, but how GORGEOUS is the poster?! Thanks to graphic-whore Niall Sweeney.

I'm sure you'll all be totally thrilled to learn that you can book tickets for my new show, A Woman In Progress, from today. All the details on the Dublin Theatre Festival website (link above)
Performances: Sept 24/25/26 and Oct 8/9/10/11
There are only seven performances, so if you really do want to go, book early. (My last show in the same space - Project Arts Centre - ran for twice as long and sold out. I'm just saying....)
