I've seen a lot of these kind of pics of the insane dog grooming/transformation craze that is especially popular in China now (though I've seen pics from competitions in the US and the UK too) but these 'pandas' and 'tigers' are particularly brilliantly nuts. I wonder do the dogs notice or care? I suspect not. Their asses probably still smell the same as always...
Though Penny is sitting here rolling her eyes. Morto for these poor pooches she is.

Pantibar manager Shane found this cute fella in Islandbridge War Memorial Park yesterday while walking his own dog. He seems like he's been well looked after and he's a good-natured and well behaved little guy so he's probably missed.
UPDATE: DOG'S OWNER FOUND! In fact, the dog did most of the finding himself! Shane took him along when he was putting up posters in the local areas, and when they were in Chapelizod, the little guy basically led Shane into a block of flats and right to his own door. Knocked on the door and a very grateful owner was thrilled to see him. Tearful reunion!

A few days ago a pod of 30 dolphins beached themselves in the middle of the day on a popular beach in Brazil, and the locals enjoying a day at the beach immediately set to work and saved all of them within minutes. People done good.
Lucky for the dolphins they didn't wash up in Taiji!

Thanks to all the different people who have sent me these pics over the last few days. The uncharitable view would be that you see pictures of dogs and bitches and think of me. The more charitable view is that you see fun pictures of man's best friend with big slobbering licking tingues and think of me. I'll go with the latter.

Penny would be useless at this because she hates water. She's such a wimp. She'll gingerly tip-toe in till it's up to her knees and then run out again. Occasionally in good weather I insist - i.e. grab her and toss her in with me - but she just scrambles straight out and looks at me like I've lost my mind.
