Kim Jong Il would love this scene from the 1944 musical Pin-Up Girl. In fact I'm surprised Betty hasn't already been drugged and bundled into a car boot and transported to Pyongyang and forced to perform for the Dear Leader in a crumbling stadium.

Lovely short film about the lengths a toy robot will go to discover the world when left alone.

The Guardian has a short 12m documentary about the racist, violent, and virulently islamophobic English Defense League. Filmed mostly undercover, it traces the rise of the EDL which was formed only nine months ago and has already become the most significant far-right British street movement since the National Front.

Shane Dillon, a well known face on the Dublin scene, is First Mate on Challenger 1, one of the boats in the aid flotilla heading for Gaza, which was attacked by Israeli forces this morning. His vessel was not involved in the attack which has reportedly left eleven dead.
In this video he talks about his reasons for working with "FreeGaza". And HERE's another video of him in contact with the Cypriot authorities while in Cypriot waters en route last Friday.
UPDATE: There are now reports that Shane's ship was in the vicinity of the attack, and that there are some fears for his safety as he has not been heard from since. I hope he's OK.
UPDATE:
The Irish Times reports:
Three Irish people - Dr Fintan Lane, Fiachra O Luain and Shane Dillon - were on board the Challenger 1 , which had travelled from Cyprus in the first wave of the flotilla, according to Niamh Moloughney of the Free Gaza Ireland campaign. It is believed one of them was injured. His condition is not known.
UPDATE: According to the gay grapevine, he's safe and has been "deported".

This is not, despite first appearances, a computer animation. This kinetic sculpture in the BMW museum in Munich is made up of 714 metal spheres, each of which is suspended on a thin wire and connected to an individual motor. The result is impressive. You can see another longer, fully lit, colour video HERE.
