... despite what people say about some of his more ludicrous fashion choices, because this is what Jordan Chandler, the boy at the centre of the original Jackson allegations looks like now. I remember at the time thinking he was a beautiful kid who'd grow up to be a ride. And I wasn't wrong. Slurp!

Fabulous nut, New York's Lady Bunny, talks to author, playwright, and long-time angry gay activist Larry Kramer, about activism, the passivity of younger gays, and more. Some of the stuff they touch on has very much been on my mind recently, and wound up in my new show. I guess great trannie minds and all that!

Brazil nut Twiggi is back with her monthly Brazilian party this Friday, July 3rd, in Pantibar. She's having a beach party this time. Expect the usual sexy insanity, trannie shows, go-go boys, plenty of half nekkid mocha-skinned luvlies, and DJ Raffa spinning the hot tunes.
I can't wait! Mommy's gonna get laid!

This article in New York Magazine makes a lot of points that will be familiar to anyone who happened to see my new show A Woman In Progress.
Forty years after Stonewall, the gay movement has never been more united. So why do older gay men and younger ones often seem so far apart?
(thanks Chris)

The Alternative Miss Ireland was very happy to join Dublin Pride in sponsoring the planting of a tree and erecting a plaque in Merrion Square beside the Oscar Wilde statue, in memory of all the loved ones we've lost to HIV/AIDS.
Yesterday evening Penny and I went along to the short, moving "Love & Remembrance" ceremony where the tree was dedicated, and the new plaque unveiled. There were a couple of short speeches, and a lovely atmosphere as the small crowd remembered lost friends and marked the end of the Pride festival.
Fittingly, the tree is a crab-apple tree, and the only fruit tree in the park!
Tonie Walshe of the Irish Queer Archive made an eloquent speech.
