She's a time travelling witch! Reader David was watching Christmas telly when he spotted Beyonce appearing in Carry On Girls - which was made in 1973, eight years before Beyonce was even born!
Oh no doubt Beyonce will deny that she's a time travelling with and will insist that it's not her and that it's in fact an actress with the fabulous name of Pauline Peart, but she would say that because witches lie.
Let's get Kelly Rowlands and throw her in the Liffey and if she drowns, Beyonce is definitely a witch... or something like that.

Happy New Year everyone. Bunny, Bláthnaid and I will be ringing in the new year at Pantibar tonight. And by "ringing in" I mean getting really drunk and fighting over Fernando the big-armed lounge boy. Which is pretty much what we do every year - just the year and the lounge boy changes.
No cover charge tonight as normal.
The blog will be continuing to be slow for a while - I have an old friend visiting from New York at the moment so I'm hanging out rather than spending time blogging. And we're going to London for a few days next week too, so you kids will have to continue to look after yourselves for a while longer. Your normal cross-dressed, fella-lovin', Dolly-worshippin' blog service will resume the second week in January.

I am off to Mayo for a few days in the morning, and have plans this evening - despite this rotten cold I'm trying to beat in to submission with a pharmacy-load of drugs.
So, I'll be taking a few days off from the blog - and even when I get back, things will be slow for a while. My old friend (and sometimes foreign correspondent for the blog) Angelo is coming to visit from New York so I'll be hanging out rather than blogging much, and we're going to London for a few days early in the new year.
Anygay, hope you all have a lovely Christmas/New Year/Hanukkah/what-ever-you're-having-yourself. Later bitches.

Reader Hugo e-mailed me to say that my obsession with my troika of adorable Brazilian fella-models (Arthur, Marlon and Francisco) has rubbed off on him - so much so that he's started a Tumblr dedicated to the three of them.
Which is very handy. Thanks Hugo. It's a durrty job but someone has to do it...

Pantibar will be closing on Xmas Eve (and reopening on the 27th) but before that Bunny will be sending us home tonight with a seasonal Hutch and a great lineup of guests.
Joining her will be Big Chief Random Chaos as Santa, burlesque babes Lucy Rhinehart, Lily DeValle and Miss Fortune, drag king Julian Mandrews, and the religious voice of the nation, Smilin' Kanker.
