My point is that you are comparing the wrong things. Having said that, Kindle book store on the iPod/iPhone/iPad is another merging of two separate devices... and the iPad isn't out yet. Posted By Al 01 Mar 2010 10:31 I don't know... I work somewhere that sells those readers and to be honest I think it's all a fad. They are really popular at the minute but I can't see it lasting. GPS systems are crazy popular for a couple years but that's nearly stopped completely now and GPS was recently voted the most useless invention of all time. At the end of the day, people are comparing readers to MP3 players. But that just doesn't add up. You need something to play music on, hense MP3s popularity.
