Lorem Ipsum Page 1 of 494 1 \| 2 \| 3 \| 4 \| 5 » 06 Jan 2013 The grumpy rich versus the arrogant richer A fun Channel 4 documentary about the culture clash between the rich local residents of London's Nightsbridge and the super-rich young men from the Gulf states that arrive every summer and cruise around the streets in their "super cars". If you are into cars there's a lot of car porn here, but even if you're not - like me - it's still a fun documentary. On one side there are the easy-to-hate local residents and their casual racism, but on the other are the arrogant, extremely rich Arab boys and their anti-social and dangerous driving. It's almost impossible to pick a side, but I suppose if I really have to I'll take the arrogant hot fellas over the racism. I'm easy like that. The best part is when the documentary maker asks a meeting of concerned residents if any of them have ever spoken to the super car drivers and they all look nonplussed and say "No". Well, that and the part where the grumpy racist gets hit with an umbrella by a boy who looks like the kid from Up. tv \| documentary \| money Blog Posted By Peter 07 Jan 2013 15:07 The guy with the nanny...haha :) Interesting documentary. For all that one might feel envious of such wealth, you realise how controlled some of their lives are. Everything's mapped out for you. Marriage, family. The locals in London may not all be as rich as they, but they have a general freedom most of their visitors won't ever have, and so I'm sure envy crosses both ways at times.
