(Though I suspect we should really be thanking Brenda Power because her naked bigotry and ignorance has got the gay blood boiling ahead of the next marriage equality rally on August 9th, and will certainly boost the numbers attending. I've been inundated with e-mails from people who've written responses to the Sunday Times) Anyway, I've heard on the gay grapevine that Helen's letter has sparked great interest in the national media, and various newspapers and TV stations are contacting her. I hope she's happy to be a new gay heroine! And according to his Facebook page, Senator David Norris intends to read the letter in the Senate chamber.
