    Lucky dolphins

    A few days ago a pod of 30 dolphins beached themselves in the middle of the day on a popular beach in Brazil, and the locals enjoying a day at the beach immediately set to work and saved all of them within minutes. People done good.

    Lucky for the dolphins they didn't wash up in Taiji!

      Can we (United Nations, etc) finally declare dolphins and whales "non-human persons" and recognise them for the extraordinary, intelligent and progressively evolving species they are...even if their collective radar occasionally screws up.

      Panti, I know you're a bit of a science buff, I think you may find this interesting .. The beaching of the dolphins here was actually not an isolated incident. Over the past few days there have been reports of beachings all over the planet, which seem to coincide with the current solar cycle. In particular, the recent caronal mass ejection, which has hurled plama and solar winds (Proton radiation) of magnitude towards earth. In fact tonight the Aurora is expected to be seen as for south as central Asia. The plasma and solar winds are interecting with the Earths magnetic field, even GPS and power grids have failed around the planet. So it's plausable that the Dolphins and Whales have also been effected, as they use the Earths magentic field to navigate.
