  Aw poor Penny, as a dog lover I totally understand. Better to get the operation done now when she is young and in full health, she'll be like new when its done :)

  Aw poor thing! Wishing her a speedy recovery! As someone else said, better to have this over and done with now than when she's older. They own our hearts the minute we meet them. Be heartbroken if anything happened our mylo. Hope she gets better soon! x

  It will work out OK in the end, best have the operation now at 4 and bounce back, rather than find out about it at age 8. thats like 90 in gay dog years. best of luck

  Oh no! So sorry to hear that love. Bella got really sick just a couple weeks after Chris brought her home. She was still so small and had to have a stay in the vet, hooked up to drips and a big operation. Chris was really shook and so worried. We all were. When people hear about the cost some of them always ask "why not just get her put down? That's a lot of money" but of course it doesn't work like that. They become so entwined in your life so quickly, and when they are in trouble you worry about them the same way you worry about anyone else close to you in your life. Maybe even more because they are so vulnerable and can't ask for what they need. Totally understand, and hope everything goes ok x

  I've grown up within a household that never had any pets (too many mouths to feed already, my mum would say). I never understood why people got attached to their pets......that is until I got a cat (which I thought I'd hate). She got knocked down on the road after a few months and that's when I realised the attachment. Penny is with the best parent, master and friend so I'm sure the best decisions will be made for her and you. She'll be enjoying her walks again in no time. Best of luck
